Abstract:
Based on his 20 years industry experience, Dr. Tiger Feng will give an overview of the current AI industry, followed by his observation and prediction of new trends.
He will then show as a POC by briefly talking about Huawei's AI strategy, and from various unique angles, how it promotes the next wave of AI practice.
Finally, he would like to have some meaning discussion about how to build a better AI world together.
Biodata:
Tiger Feng is Senior Director of Strategy, Huawei USA Seattle. He leads the company's research efforts and brings state of the art artificial intelligence solutions into the platform.
He is an experienced architect of Cloud Computing, Big Data and AI solutions. He focuses on global strategy of Cloud Computing, Big Data, Edge Computing, AI and other emerging technologies for Huawei.
Before Huawei, he was a Principal Architect of Microsoft Shared Data Group, building Microsoft's largest real-time telemetry framework and various other Big Data solutions. Before that, he worked for about 7 years at Google on Google's Cloud services/applications/infrastructures. He is a founder of Chrome Browser, Chrome Web Store, Google+ API, Google Hangouts and so on. Before Google, he worked at Microsoft, Microsoft Research, Argonne National Lab, SUN and a few other companies.
He got his PhD from University of Chicago and BS from Tsinghua University.
