Abstract:
Acronis is a global leader in backup, disaster recovery, secure file sharing and file access solutions. More than 300 software engineers from different countries work together to develop sophisticated technological solutions. Launched in 2015, Acronis R&D Centre in Singapore is steadily growing to become one of the largest R&D facilities in the region. During this talk Eugene Aseev, Head of Singapore R&D Centre, will discuss current Acronis research interest areas and specific projects that can be launched together with NUS students or research labs. Areas include: data security, data privacy, smart devices protection, network performance, cryptography, blockchain.
Biodate:
Eugene is VP of Engineering and Head of Singapore R&D Centre at Acronis. Prior to joining Acronis, he managed international research team in Kaspersky Lab, organized Security Startup Challenge startup accelerator and headed Security Research team at GeoEdge. Eugene holds MS in Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
