A Brief Introduction to Propensity Score Matching
COM2 Level 4
Executive Classroom, COM2-04-02
ABSTRACT:
In the statistical analysis of observational data, propensity score matching (PSM) is a statistical matching technique that attempts to estimate the effect of a treatment, policy, or other intervention by accounting for the covariates that predict receiving the treatment. In this teaching seminar, I will introduce the evaluation framework of treatment effect and implementation of PSM. I will also share hands-on experience to apply PSM in empirical research.
